The Origin Story

"When baseball declared my career over, I didn't accept defeat. Instead, I reshaped the game by becoming a baseball instructor, ensuring I could indulge in my passion every day. Don't allow external forces to set your limits. Pursue what you love relentlessly, no matter the obstacles. Live your dream to the fullest."

Training Programs

Complete player development

Six pillars that build the whole athlete — from first-rep mechanics to college showcase day.

01

Precision Hitting

Master the fundamentals with pro-grade technique. Mechanics, timing, swing path, and contact point — every rep built with purpose.

02

Fielding & Defense

Footwork, range, positioning, and glove work for infielders and outfielders. Build the defensive instincts coaches notice at tryouts.

03

Mental Game

The mental edge that separates good players from great ones. Focus, composure, and competitive confidence — even when the game is on the line.

04

Speed & Agility

Explosive movement training: reaction time, first-step quickness, base running, and outfield range. Be the fastest version of yourself.

05

College Prep

Navigate recruitment with confidence. Showcase strategy, film prep, and the exposure tools you need to get noticed at the next level.

06

Family Support

Resources and guidance for parents at every stage of youth baseball — so the whole team at home is on the same page.

Coaching Method

The tools that build winners

Coach Corey doesn't just teach swings — he builds the mind-body connection that makes great hitters. Training incorporates the RMT Club from Weck Method, a versatile tool that develops early timing, coordination, mobility, and rotational core strength from the first rep.

The methodology is simple: train the brain alongside the body. Every drill has a cue. Every session builds layered muscle memory that holds up in real game situations — not just the cage.

"I absolutely love the RMT Club from @thedavidweck. This versatile tool not only helps hitters establish an early mind-body connection but also improves coordination, enhances mobility, and boosts core strength. I highly recommend for any player looking to take their swings to the next level."

What players & parents say

★★★★★
"Corey Stigar is phenomenal with my boys. He not only works on the fundamentals, but helps kids work on the mental part of the game as well. He is patient, kind, and pushes kids to work hard in a positive way."
★★★★★
"I definitely recommend booking Corey for your lessons. He was great with my son. My son learned a ton in just a few half hour lessons. We saw improvement with not only his hitting, but also with his confidence and social skills."
★★★★★
"Training with Corey was awesome! Definitely going to be a regular and work with Corey!"
Peer Recognition
"It was a pleasure working with Corey these last two months. It's incredible to get inside the mind of a Major League All-Star. His approach from at-bat to at-bat, dependent upon the pitcher and what he features, was enlightening to say the least. I learned so much, I'm still trying to process all the information."

The Process

How we build players

01

Assess

Every athlete starts with an honest evaluation — mechanics, physical baseline, mental game, and goals. No assumptions, no cookie-cutter programs.

02

Build the Foundation

Fundamentals first, always. Speed and power built on top of clean mechanics compounds — the reverse doesn't work. We don't skip steps.

03

Level Up

Progressive overload in skill, strength, and competition exposure — timed to the athlete's development, not a calendar.

04

Compete

Showcase readiness, college prep, or dominating at your current level — training translates to real results on the field.

Coach's Word

The work you do in practice is the only thing you can control on game day.

Common Questions

Everything you need to know

What ages and levels do you train?
Youth through college-level athletes of all skill levels. Whether your child is picking up a bat for the first time or preparing for a college showcase, Coach Corey has a program built for where they are right now.
How long are sessions?
Private lessons run 30 minutes. That's enough time for focused, intentional reps without losing quality. Consistent shorter sessions outperform occasional marathon practices.
Where do sessions take place?
Two Central Valley locations: Riverbank (2301–2355 Novi Dr, 95367) and Modesto (4606 Elm St, 95356). Both are fully equipped indoor facilities — training continues rain or shine.
What should we bring?
Bat, batting gloves, helmet, and cleats or turf shoes. If your athlete doesn't have their own equipment yet, reach out before your session and Coach Corey will set you up.
Do you offer group training?
Yes. In addition to private lessons, group sessions and team training are available. Group work is great for building competitive instincts and learning from peers at a similar level.
How do I book a session?
Book online at professional-baseball-training.square.site, call 408-701-8030, or DM @coachcoreystigar on Instagram. Sessions are Mon–Sat, 9 AM–8 PM.
